Summer Storage Available!
It’s that time of year when students across the country start making plans for the summer… but while you’re off enjoying the break from your studies, what are you going to do with your stuff!
The lucky ones among you will be able to leave it in the same house, though this usually incurs a fee. But what about the many who are moving out of halls of residence or changing house because you didn’t get on with your flatmate!!
More often than not, you will need to vacate the old flat at the end of term but won’t have access to the new one until September… Do you pack everything up and take it back to your parents? Or find safe, secure storage close to your place of study? As a parent myself I know which I’d prefer!
There are many reasons why self storage can be useful for students – this is a stage in your life when you don’t have many ties. You might be taking a gap year to travel or get a work placement away from home. It might be a few years yet before you settle in one location so a storage unit can provide a ‘base’ to store anything which you don’t need at a particular given time.
With this in mind we have put together a service for students which gives you the flexibility to store just a box or the contents of a fully furnished flat!
Option 1 – Shared Storage Space
This is the most flexible option whereby we only charge for the items stored. All items are kept within a shared storage area, to which we hold the key and access is supervised. A standard size archive box can be stored for just £1 per week; A suitcase £2 per week; Unusual items quoted for on request.
Option 2 – Discount on our regular units
If you need to store the entire contents of your flat including furniture then our regular units would be more suitable. The entire space is yours and only you hold the key. Prices start from £15 per week for a 25sqft unit and we offer 10% discount for students with a valid NUS card.
